Community Transport Sussex is a charity that exists to supply transport to anyone who finds it difficult to access public transport. We take people to local shops, doctors' surgeries and Day Centers such and social settings. We also supply transport to local community groups and assist with school runs to special needs schools.
This role requires driving a minibus in Burgess Hill and surrounding areas, collecting the elderly and disabled and taking them shopping or to local doctors and Day Centres. There is also the opportunity to drive local community groups on days out and excursions
You will be required to take a DBS Check (which we will pay for) and a small amount of driver training.
Skills
- Over 25 years old and have at least two years driving experience with a D1 License Category on your driving license. (if you passed your test before 1997, you will do)
- Patient and understanding towards the people you are transporting.

Times may vary but normally you will be required for a few hours a week, between 8.30 and 17.00, Monday to Friday. However, there is no fixed time and we would happy for you to give whatever time you can
