Grove Garden is a community garden in the heart of Haywards Heath which changes lives for the better. We are delighted to say we are growing and blooming. As a result we need a social media and campaign expert who wants to give back to the community and do something super rewarding - helping us to communicate brilliantly, raise funds and campaign for all the great things we do.

What do we need

  • Someone to deliver our social media and campaigns with some help from the team.
  • Sort out our social media and channels and web site. Link them up and help us on with the: what, when and how to - maximise our potential. 
  • Support our fund raising. Our current plan is to raise £13K by the end March 2026 for our all weather space so we can stay open all year round.. We have raised £7K to date.
  • Develop and set up campaigns and channels - like crowdfunding, digital raffles and more. We are always open to ideas.
  • Produce content for our channels

Skills

You will need skill such as:

  • Social media campaign delivery and channel management - we really need help sorting out how best to set up our social platforms and link them up too.
  • Familiarity with key social media channels from Facebook to TikToK - also used to working with Square Space, which is the platform our web site is built on
  • The ability to plan and design good social content and how to increase the reach - to support our fundraising and encourage more people who need our support to come to the garden
  • Content design and production for use on social media and fund raising platforms, including the use of simple film
  • Either experience or relevant skills to manage and/or work with our fund raising platforms such as Zeffry and Crowdfunder
  • Excellent communication skills  
  • Used to working with teams

Although we have ticked boxes on this form, there is flexibility of when we need help and we can work around other commitments. The time and needs change depending on what is happening in the garden, such as special events or fundraising. Or it could be general updates. There are other volunteers that can help you with posting and sharing content too.
