Purpose of the role
To enable young people who have one-to-one support to ride their trike as part of their physiotherapy sessions. This role is term time only.
What you will do
Working alongside our experienced Education Assistants you will:
- Help set up specialist trikes following individual physiotherapy programmes
- Support safe transfers using a hoist (full training provided)
- Walk alongside the trike, ensuring stability and safety
- Encourage and motivate young people to achieve their personal goals
- Be part of those incredible goal reached moments
Every session is tailored to the young person — and your support will help make it happen.

We are looking for two volunteers to work a couple of hours a week. The volunteer can choose a day/time to suit them. This role is term-time only.
