We support bereaved children, young people and their families and also those affected by a family member having a terminal diagnosis.
We are looking to expand our team of Community Fundraising Volunteers to help with fundraising on an ad-hoc and flexible basis within their local community, to enable us to raise vital funds to continue to provide our service. Activities may include:
- Assisting with fundraising collections (street, stations, shopping centres etc.)
- Supporting fundraising events
- Christmas collections/carol singing locally
- Serving cakes/teas and coffees at coffee mornings
Skills
- Ability to sympathise/emphasise
- Ability to work both in a team and individually
- Friendly and willing to engage with the public
- Willingness to learn about the charity and its services
- Use of a car (desirable) or access to transport

The Community Fundraising role is a flexible ad-hoc role, with the opportunity to volunteer as much or as little as you wish. There is no minimum expectation, but we would be grateful for your commitment to volunteer at least once a year.
