Katie Rabone
Chief Executive Officer
I have worked in the VCSE sector for most of my career, apart from a 6-year stint as an External Funding Manager at a local authority.
My time in the sector has included fundraising for a women’s domestic abuse charity, reviewing income strategies and strategic frameworks for regional museums and as a Head of Income for The EY Foundation. Over the past 10 years I have developed my own consultancy and I’ve delivered training on bid writing, grant management, business planning, and more, to The FA, the National Autistic Society, London Youth and Directory of Social Change. I was also a Senior Lecturer on the BA (Hons) Charity Development degree at the University of Chichester.
Many moons ago, I trained and worked as a part time youth leader and my passion for ensuring young people are heard in our communities has not dwindled. All things co-production, asset-based approaches and giving anyone the space to contribute to social change drives my approach at work.
The best part of my current role is that I get to be part of a dedicated team, where every individual cares deeply about their communities.
