Since I came into the workforce via the arts and music industries I have worked in and around the VCSE sector with children, young people, families, and adults for most of my career as a practitioner and as a senior leader.
I am inspired by the communities for whom we advocate and the determination & creativity all of us bring to do (and be) the best we can. None of us can do this in isolation so I believe in robust, mutually beneficial, people-centred partnerships and healthy alliances between the communities and all the different sectors.
I also work as an independent Fostering Panel Member for Action for Children and the local authority. Being born and raised in Sussex, I have been a lifelong supporter of Brighton & Hove Albion, and I enjoy music, cinema, and cycling.
