My role here at Community People has changed many times since my arrival on a 6 month contract some 10 years ago!
As Centre Manager my role varies on a day-by-day basis from taking the initial room hire enquiries right through to finalising bookings, arranging any extras, and doing your room hire invoices, no one day is ever the same other than always very interesting. Add into the equation the need to have a thorough knowledge of Legionella testing, Food hygiene safety, (we’re very proud of our level 5 rating), First Aid certificates and testing all the fire alarms and daily life becomes very busy.
When I’m not working, I like to relax coaching a youth sports team, reading a book, or pottering in the garden.
