Safeguarding

A groups Safeguarding policy is an essential policy designed to ensure that everyone who is connected with your organisation is valued, kept safe and protected from harm. This includes all volunteers, staff, members or clients. The policy lays out what action your organisation has taken to keep people safe and what to do in the event of a concern. The type of safeguarding policy is often determined by the nature of your organisation, for example, if you are including young people or vulnerable adults in your activities.
